JKStanford
Profile
I am a 1983 graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Photography and Cinema (with the emphasis on cinema). Although my career in filmmaking did not pan out (I obtained a second degree in Physical Therapy in 1995), I still enjoy the creativity that photography offers me. Most of the photos I have taken the last 25 years are of family and vacations, but I still utilize the learned basics of creating a nice photograph that others will enjoy as well.
Although I love film photography, I finally relented and purchased a Canon Power Shot S5 IS digital camera in 2007 after my trusty Canon AE-1 locked up on me at the World Series in 2006. Perhaps I’ll get it fixed someday but, until then, I’m going to continue to learn what amazing things digital photography has to offer.
