I couldn’t resist the tulip.
Shot with a Nikon D3000 and adjusted in PS CS5.

Like most photographers, I am always looking for that unique perspective or “special something” in an image. My aim is to entice the viewer to look at the details to become aware of the color and form of the subject. Even when using textures to enhance a photo, the viewer is drawn in and the subject maintains its focus and importance.

It looks great, and would look good HERE

But you would have to lose the name off it as print is not allowed..Shirley

  • Hi Shirley! It’s just my signature. The other photo I have as part of this group has my signature as well. If you think I should remove it or make it more subtle I will.

Hi Jessica, as I came into this group after rules were set, I believe that the signature is added to the picture and I give you a copy of the rule..

    4. We will no longer accept works of art containing any words that have been typeset onto the image. (Unless called for in a challenge)

To me it does break the Solid Black….If you feel it could be close to the picture it might pass…Thanks for getting back, not all hosts agree on what should be in and this is a difficult group to keep to the rules as you can imagine.. The other host is good and does try very hard, being new to the world of hosting. Take care, Shirley
