I bought a mini calla lily plant. Shot with a Canon EOS and adjusted in PS

Like most photographers, I am always looking for that unique perspective or “special something” in an image. My aim is to entice the viewer to look at the details to become aware of the color and form of the subject. Even when using textures to enhance a photo, the viewer is drawn in and the subject maintains its focus and importance.

I love the texture you have used. What is it? Great shot

  • Thanks! I didn’t use a texture, I just played around with the hue saturation on the flower, then masked it so I could desaturate the background color.
