A Day At The Seaside? by JJsEscape

Currently unavailable for purchase

Got your ticket, climb aboard and let’s be off. A day at the seaside or an Afternoon Drive, whichever takes your fancy!
Many thanks to everyone who helped me with the model and date.
I think I am correct in saying it is a Leyland Classique Tiger PS2 (Harrington) which was built in 1949

Super old charabanc, great find Judy …

  • My husband called it an Old Boneshaker LOL, I like your description better. Would have liked to have done my own version of ‘Summer holiday’

    1950 looks like here

  • This one didn’t have the ‘fin’( please excuse my ignorance about its real name) on the top, but it does look remarkably similar! Thank you so much! Regards, Judy

Its certainly a classic (though Classique was a Scottish Tour Company that owned the vehicle) PD2. I took my PSV in one of these converted to a double decker

  • I confess to not knowing a thing about anything mechanical Aggpup. LOL. I did a search and found the actual bus , and searched the internet for information. Many thanks for your comment, always appreciated! Best regards, Judy
