    Thanks Alex. Thing is this, it is a custom made rig so you really can’t just buy it off the shelf. It’s simple enough to make, just suction cups, aluminium beam and a bit of experimentation.

    I’ve already done that a few years ago, but from the front of the car looking back (rig attached to the front of the car). It was used for the front cover of an issue of Fast Fours, somewhere around 2003-4. It’s very difficult to get a sharp image when you do that kind of thing as it makes the rig shake too much, Photoshop trickery can usually fix all that. These kinds of shots are actually best done with the car rolling with the engine off as it’s the best way to reduce vibration and therefore ensure a sharp image.

    i know what ya mean….i’ve got a couple long-exp pics like that on here, but my mount was tucked alot closer to the car so I got very little vibration.
