The highest honor of gardening belongs to Mother Nature. Here, she has created a bounty of incredible colors and air of sweet perfume. Among the bouquet are Wooly Mule’s Ears, Silver Leaf Lupine, Western Pennyroyal, Lavender Gilia and Showy Penstemon. The Mule’s Ears are a member of the Sunflower Family – with several large, deep yellow flower heads on long stalks. All of the leaves emanate from the base of the stems. The Western Pennyroyal is a mint and has been brewed for tea and used for medicinal purposes for centuries.
You really should see this scene ENLARGED.
