It’s all about capturing a moment in time. About discovering scenes that, when shared, generate interest and appeal.
I am absorbed in the passion for photography and derive great pleasure in being a part of this superb artistic community.

John Butler is a resident of Northern California. A builder, by trade – but spiritually, a naturalist and photographer.

I love trees!this one is absolutely beautiful!!great colours and focus!

  • Thank you, Edyta – This is located on a volcanic plateau. The trees struggle to survive in the shallow soil but the wildflowers abound ( for about four weeks, each year). Then, it all dries out and looks barren, dry and foreboding. I visit this place, every year. John B

    Very beautiful.

  • Thank You, Kathleen – There is a surreal character to this scene. Every time I look at it I feel that I am gazing into a painting. John B
