They are cut flowers on the kitchen counter, catching the path of the sun as it moves, throughout the day. Their golden glow seems to permeate our house and even when they are out of sight their bright, mental images remain. The Daffodil is among the very first flowers to appear, each spring. What a wonderful, and powerful symbol to usher in the season of renewal.

It’s all about capturing a moment in time. About discovering scenes that, when shared, generate interest and appeal.
I am absorbed in the passion for photography and derive great pleasure in being a part of this superb artistic community.

John Butler is a resident of Northern California. A builder, by trade – but spiritually, a naturalist and photographer.
