The Blue Dick is a member of the Brodiaea Lilies. It is characterized by a long, slender, rater weak stem with a showy blue-purple flower at the tip. The 1/2" – 2" grass-like leaves often wither before the flowers appear. Common throughout grassy fields below 3000’, extending from Oregon and south to Mexico. March – May.
