This bar caught my eye as I was driving through Delray (which is a former incorporated village located in the southwest side of Detroit, Michigan). I liked the colors and how the shadows fell on the building. This area of Detroit has unfortunately been forgotten. The state of Michigan, Detroit and Canada are making plans to build a new bridge to Windsor, Ontario. The proposed location of the bridge is in Delray.

I spent my childhood on the Westside of Detroit. The area I played in, was educated in and socialized in was bordered by West Grand, Livernois E and W. and Tireman and Warren N&S. The rest of the westside was pretty much off limits at the time. Except for school at Northwestern and McMichael.
