*Not actually crazy, actually true.

Old school Telecom logo.
(If anyone has any specific advice about the legalities of using a defunct logo for a defunct organisation, please let me know. I don’t want to inadvertently breach a copyright that I’m almost certain doesn’t exist.)

I remember that.
Umm well people were using the Pan Am logo on bags and stuff. Still do in fact but I seem to remember Pan Am went bust in the late seventies so not sure. Telecom isn’t a dead company, it just morphed into Telstra so couldn’t tell you what to trademark laws are.
Thanks mate, I’ve had a look into it but it’s all a bit murky. Guess I’ll just keep it up until someone has an issue. Cheers

I actually knew the person who designed that. Did you redraw it? the original was actually a bit off centre I seem to recall. I think I might also have had a tie pin of this, I worked for telecom (when it was telecom!)
I would think telstra still holds the copyright….so they could drag the old logo out and put it on shirts too.this thread might have a link to something that could help.
Thanks for all the info Soxy! I did redraw it, will have a closer look at the original design when I get a chance. Cheers
ha ha! what a blast from the past, love your ideas, the colour is great.
