Viviane, I was taking picture of trains approaching and leaving the platform on the otherside. This train could me by surprise as it shot through the station and did not stop. I was quick enough to release the shutter and capture it as it flow by.

Glad you like it Dogbreath.
The photo was shot with my Contax G2 with a 28mm lense at f16. It was shot on bulb setting with the shutter open for maybe 15-20 seconds as the train shot past.. The film was Kodak Gold 200 nothing flashy.

Is that Moor Street Station? I love that shot! the exposure is spot on, the shutter speed is perfect… but above all, the night light is absolutely fantastic. there is nothing i don’t like about this shot

Thanks Michael. Its is Wylde Green station which is on the line between New street station Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield, north Birmingham.
