Starburst [ Pinker Lily ]
Yes, this is from that wet, very sunny summer that resulted in some of the most gorgeous flowers I have ever seen. I’m not sure what kind of lily this is, but it’s more pink than another pink lily, hence Pinker Lily … July 7, 2005
Updated: At the December 6, 2008, Artisans Holiday Market at 919 Gallery in the Powerhouse Arts District PADNA John Donnelly stop by to visit his jeweler wife, Christina, saw this image and said, “You took a picture of my lily!”. This lily was elsewhere, hundreds of miles North in the Berkshires, but John did identify this tiger lily as a “Starburst”. So, Thanks to John! Now I know what this is … and I’ve changed its title accordingly.
