Not sure how I feel about the Occupy protests since their messages are somewhat scattered, still, “There Is Something Terribly Wrong With This Country, Isn’t There?” or rather, many of it’s people, the government AND the citizens. The corporations, the government, and establishments and organizations are NOT the only blameworthy identities.
I used to be part of a multi level marketing company, sometimes erroneously known as a pyramid scheme, but there was a speaker that had a good anecdote.
He wanted to change the world. So he went out and he tried and tried. He found that he couldn’t.
Story-Repeat in descending order: nation, state, city, family
And then he realized he could only change himself.
And he did.
And then he affected his family.
Story-Repeat in ascending order: family, town, city, state, nation, world.
Juxtapose metaphors diametrically opposite of a means to an end…(…OBEY…)…Room 101 1984 with Pavlov’s dog chained…,“the medium is the message”…,“Wherever you go, there you are…?” We live in the age of sacred hypocrisy of accepted socially politically religious and business lies…it is the bold face of greed and the greedy lying self justification of the hypocrites while lying that pisses people off…Occupy your Mind.
“DISOBEY – Gandhi Putting on Guy Fawkes Mask” is visually sublime and the two so opposite that justifies the means…to an end…applause applause.
