misty morning
Spring has been colder than normal across much of the prairies. This photo was taken in the post-dawn light on a night where temperatures dropped to -3°C. Frost had formed on the grass and mist slowly drifted off the Wallace creek as the sun rose above the horizon. I was lucky enough to be working during these hours in order to witness this amazing scene. Photo taken in eastern Saskatchewan near the town of Hamton. Photo taken about an hour after “First Light” was shot.
