Located on the west coast of Sardinia, Italy, I ventured upon this gem of a beach hidden away – after following a dirt track down past an old factory this beautiful vista unfolded.
Travelling with work, I must admit… that job was tough…but someone had to do it

The image was taken on my fully mechanical 120 film Widelux panoramic camera on slide film (ASA100) and electronically scanned via an Epson V700. The Widelux has a rotating lens across a 150 degree arc – it sometimes is a little slow on the start of its “scan” hence over-exposure at the leading edge can occur… as seen here.

whatever treatment you have used here, it works the colours are so rich looking. the blues in that sky, awesome.

  • The sky and sea were left as is…using Velvia professional slide film stock gives some beautiful colours – the beach and cliffs have been lightened a little in PS and overall some sharpening – no changes in any colours or saturation … many thanks Christopher
