Long Road Home
Out on the seemingly never ending Hay Plains I found this long abandoned car. It is a long walk to anywhere.
As the paddocks where very grey and dry due to the ongoing drought I found that it didn’t take much to change this to black and white while maintaining the paint and rust colours of the old car.
Using a 200mm zoom lens helped with depth of field, with much of the foreground out of focus.

Certainly not the place to beal down Max – although I did lose a wheel of a caravan 60kms the other dise of Hay once – ruined my day

I love the green against the rest of the grey. Each time I see it as a thumbnail it looks like a VW beetle, but it’s not. It’s still a great green car though!!

thx GG – yes you are right its not a VW…. I think its either a Morris or Austin. And yes, its still mainly green…lol
