Of stone and wood
Sevenhill Cellars – Clare Valley South Australia.
The Jesuits, (Society of Jesus) migrated to Australia from Austria in 1848 seeking a life free from religious and political persecution. They settled at Sevenhill in the beautiful Clare Valley and established Sevenhill Cellars, which is the oldest existing winery in the Clare Valley in 1851. Initially the main purpose of the cellars was to provide sacramental wine for religious use and this has been ongoing. Sevenhill Cellars now produce white, red and fortified wines as well as sacramental wine. ... from the Sevenhill Cellars web page – history

Love the comp and perspective and also the tones. Great work with the exposure – a very natural looking HDR.
JimFilmer replied
thx Kathy… the HDR helped with a bit of texture definition, however I did not want the warmth to be lost by “winding up” all the HDR contrast and highlight controls

Beautiful capture Jim, I would like to “check” what is inside ;)
JimFilmer replied
well I didn’t leave before “checking” a number of the offerings Jan… always good quality wine from these cellars. They also provide all the alter wine for the Catholic Church in Australia – and I don’t see too many priests complaining…lol
