I am 67 years young, with a passion for photography particularly people I was a geologist in my former life having worked in all Australian states , except tasmania I also lived and workedfor two years in new zealand then twelve years in Canada I am now retired. I suffered a severe stroke threeyears ago and am now paralysed on my left side and mainlyconfined to a wheelchair but luckily I am right handed and able to continue to pursue my hobby photography with undiminished passion.M y main disability apart from the wheelchair, is a problem with one-finger typing which results in numerous typographic errors in my writing. My favourite subjects are people so portraits and figure work are my strengths.through my hobby I have met and continue to meet many wonderful and inspiring people, until a couple of years ago my photography was film based, and the output of course print both colour and monochrome I was fortunate to be able to purchase a nikon D70 DSLR just before I retired so now I spend my evenings grappling with a computer intsead of the pleasures? of a wet darkroom.after the image and print are acceptable to me I compete in national photographic salons around the country with a moderate degree of success, I hope all visitors to my page enjoy my images my e-mail is rmpjp@bigpond.net.au
