This is fantastic Mel! Glad you got some good shots out of the day and that your broken tripod didn’t ruin it for you. I reckon the cold would have made the plastic head very brittle and easier to snap.

Oh thanks Will, Talking about tripods I just got back from camera house @ Penrith and bought a Manfrotto 190D tripod with a ball head its great and I also bought wirless shutter release for my baby hehe so I will have to go up the mountains this weekend to try it all out ;-)
