I read on your blog about the fox mascot hood ornament. I remember when John du Pont had this made, as another du Pont owned one, and he tried to find an original and couldn’t. He had his lawyer/personal assistant Taras M. Wochok have the ornament made up as his farm was named Foxcatcher. I am sure that I can track down the person who made this hood ornament, and I can guarantee you that it is not lalique.
I don’t understand your comment. I don’t have a blog. I don’t know what fox mascot you are talking about. Rene Lalique designed an eagles head ornament Rene Lalique ornaments. I believed the above ornament to be one of his. Are you saying that John du Pont had it commissioned, had a replica made or were simply almost identical designs. I see the Dupont emblem… I’m just really confused by your message
