for my weight issues
you did not put the food in my mouth

for my loneliness
only i can step out and do something about that.

for my self image
if not for you trying to turn me into a mini you
I’d see myself as a Beautiful unique individual!

for my Troll within my head
you planted his seed

BUT

Yet

I Love you

I can’t blame you
by my compliance
I gave you permission
to degrade my psyche

I can’t blame you
I never said
NO!

BUT

I can say No now!

NO!

I don’t blame you!

NO!

I don’t give you permission to disregard my individuality!

Im Angry, im 38 this year, and yes i hate to admit it but my anger’s directed at my dear mother.

its stupid, its ego based, but its another constant in my life me battling to assert myself as an individual.

as not a clone of my mother….

Just wish i could show her this.
