Abandoned in the Gap by Jill Fisher

Currently unavailable for purchase

Several abandoned characterful cottages at the Gap of Dunloe, County Kerry, Ireland. These old abandoned buildings enhance this scenic route and there were a number of them in various states of disrepair. I found it quite sad that their owners just locked the doors one day and walked away from them.

    G’day Jill!
An excellent composition and presentation. The B&W rendition makes the houses look even more forlorn and relevant to the bleak times. :) george

  • Hi George, thanks very much, yes very bleak times, it was sad yet fascinating to see and photograph these abandoned buildings ~ cheeers
