Namibia is a photographer’s dream, it boasts wild seascapes, rugged mountains, lonely deserts, stunning wildlife, colonial cities and nearly unlimited elbow room. For a number of years I had longed to visit this remote and wild country in Africa and photograph it’s landscape.
I finally visited in 2012 and spent two weeks travelling around, photographing the Namib desert and the Sossus dunes and venturing further south to Luderitz and the Fish River Canyon. It didn’t disappoint and my impressions of this unique and wonderful landscape are expressed in my many photographs. I feel I only scratched the surface.
