I’m an amateur photographer located in Ann Arbor, Michigan USA. I started in photography many years ago when my parents purchased an Olympus OM-1 SLR. I used that OM-1 for quite a while until I purchased an Olympus OM-4. A couple of years ago I decided to go digital with an Olympus E-500 and recently upgraded to the Olympus E-3.
My favorite things to shoot include architecture, industrial and landscapes. I tend to gravitate towards images which are more graphical or geometric in nature. Most of my images have some element of post-processing done on them, but I consider this work to be ‘darkroom’ work.
I have a personal web site at James Howe Photography where I maintain a gallery and a blog where I post images and describe the post-processing done to finish the image.
