Hello! Thanks for visiting my Red Bubble page.

My images are all about slowing down: a much-needed antidote (for me at least!) to our fast-moving, throw-away, society.

As a photographer my inspirations include colour, tranquillity, history, the sea, nature and the changing seasons. A keen family historian, I love wandering along beautiful old streets, soaking up the feel of the place and photographing the buildings. I’m also an an avid needleworker with a propensity for long, slow needlework projects. Increasingly drawn to nature, I’m trying to incorporate the fruits of the earth in my projects – natural dyes, home-grown produce, and so on; and using recycled materials.

I hope you enjoy what you see here. If you do, please visit my blog, Dancing with Sunflowers, where I regularly post more of my photography as well as other creative projects and musings on creativity.
