Breaking Through II
Okay then well for all of those who have seen my other dandelion shots from a recent series, you will know that this is the same shot used in Breaking Through.. This shot is the original, full-colour version and I have decided to upload it as my girlfriend insists that she likes it better than the sepia toned version, so I thought I’d give it a go..
I hope you like it and please let me know what you think, comments are more than welcome!

Great image Jeremy, I have to admit i like this one better too!!!!
Debbie Black
great colours of green in the background and yet another beautiful shot but i still prefer the sepia version – not as distracting from the main feature i.e. the dandelion. that would be my opinion anyways! great work tho!

Your girl friend is right this time….....but then again she is probably right all the time…....well at least let her think so….......ps: maybe she should not read this in case you have to answer an awkward question….......I like it also
Oli Johnson
For piece of mind, always listen to your other half. However I think they all stand alone and are all good pieces.
Liz Wohlrab

Helene Kippert

Kim Oliver
I agree with your girlfriend, I also like this one better :-(
Gayle Shaw
I like both, for different reasons. This one because it is the way nature intended it, and the sepia one for photographic “pleasing to the eye” reasons. Both are fantastic images.
Sharon Wormleaton
I like this one better too. I’d have to say for the same reasons as Gayle above. The colours are fantastic
Dave Lloyd

I think your girlfirend is right. You have many hues and tones in the bg. I believe to showcase this Dndelionmore you need to have color. Great angle and dof by the way. I beliieve the sepia tone even though pretty is not right for this now seeing it in color!
Carly Faust

amylyttle
great colouring. i love the the detail in the centre
Jessie Harris
Awesome dof.. I like this one better than the sepia one, but that’s because the blurriness of the green background really makes it pop out. :) Nice shot!

Cory Frantz

eyestrange
WoW and deff works in colour – the DOF is excellant and the focus is superb
AdamDonnelly
I thought the sepia version was superb but I like this better. I love the green in the background. I don’t think it takes away from the subject at all. If anything I think it contrasts well & actually makes the dandelion stand out. Going by all the comments you’ve received I think they’re both winners.
Michelle Boyer
Great image- I like the greens
Anthony Begovic

Drobek
Very well done, great framing of the subject :)
Nancy Polanski
Sepia is almost always a good choice, but in this case I think the color version is MUCH more appealing. With the sepia, it all sort of blended together. The color makes it seem mor “real” and detailed. At least to me.
And thanks for liking my work, too!
ashlinn
Great image. It reminds me of the game i used to play as a child – where you say 1 o’clock, 2 o’clock and blow bits off the dandelion. Maybe you have played it?
