The right hand side of the double doors to the house in Cooma

So I’m now in my 60’s [how did that happen?!] and I feel I’ve finally hit my full stride- thought there’s still a stretch ahead! Born and lived all my life in Sydney, and loving it. Graduated from the National Art School (Randwick TAFE and East Sydney campus) in 1974 with a Diploma in Interior Design, worked for 3 years at Taronga Zoo as their Staff Artist, then took an apprenticeship with the stained glass master Stephen Moore. In 1982 I left his studio to take up private practice.

    I love this, as well.
Imagine it on the door to my library ;))
It’s colors changing with the light.
    Truly lovely piece.

  • this little fella was a favourite when I was working as an artist at Taronga Zoo in Sydney- spent my first year there illustrating birds! the blue is actually naked skin, no feathers. he’s a local to Cooma, the area where this door panel was commissioned. Thx.
