My latest outing. Begun at the end of May, I just completed the piece 14th July 09.

The hoarding is right beside a cafe which stays open till 10pm and I can’t be painting with aerosols till after they close.. and it’s been pretty damn cold of a night here in Sydney lately and fairly wet as well. Besides I like to let these things develop over time; keeps people wondering.

So I’m now in my 60’s [how did that happen?!] and I feel I’ve finally hit my full stride- thought there’s still a stretch ahead! Born and lived all my life in Sydney, and loving it. Graduated from the National Art School (Randwick TAFE and East Sydney campus) in 1974 with a Diploma in Interior Design, worked for 3 years at Taronga Zoo as their Staff Artist, then took an apprenticeship with the stained glass master Stephen Moore. In 1982 I left his studio to take up private practice.
