So I’m now in my 60’s [how did that happen?!] and I feel I’ve finally hit my full stride- thought there’s still a stretch ahead! Born and lived all my life in Sydney, and loving it. Graduated from the National Art School (Randwick TAFE and East Sydney campus) in 1974 with a Diploma in Interior Design, worked for 3 years at Taronga Zoo as their Staff Artist, then took an apprenticeship with the stained glass master Stephen Moore. In 1982 I left his studio to take up private practice.

    Striking! Why do I see these as a series of horizons, sandwiched one atop the other. The variation seems to suggest a 20 minute path at sunset’s end. There’s some writing at the bottom of the page that I can’t read. I like the way its blur takes on its own abstract qualities, in another, yet shorter line.

    yeah, the resolution on th eimage is not great… the text at the bottom says: “Fri 13th midnight”. Love your interpretation. The horizon seeps through my consciousness. I live right on the north headland at Maroubra Beach, wonderful environment.
