DL-sized collage based on Art Exhibition advertising material.

Given that many of these art invitations are very creative and striking in themselves, it’s fascinating finding a balance between what shows thru and what is concealed. Issues of plagiarism and copyright are in play. And Art as a commodity.

This work will be shown at the Newtown gallery At The Vanishing Point in their Show of the Season Reality Cheque, opening Friday 19th June 2009. I will be showing a collection of mixed media work using junk mail, business cards, credit cards and advertising material.
