Samjjana Exhibition: Circus Chaos

Samjjana Exhibition: Circus Chaos

Global Gallery, Paddington (Sydney)
Oct/Nov 2008
Well I judge the exhibition a success, even tho I sold nothing. People came, people saw and they were highly impressed. And they had a good time. That’s gotta count for something.

This is photographed from inside the gallery looking out to the street. It’s actually a converted garage, complete with a roller shutter door. So we’re actually looking at the back of the work in this photo.

So much energy in this… incredible power, motion and colour! (hard to guess scale from this image, but it appears to be maybe 24 inches square ?) You’ve got a lot going on in this! great title and wondrous feel from this- thanks so much for sharing and happy you gauge success by the attendance and attitude of those who attended… those riches and rewards are immeasurable to an artistic spirit. Peace

  • Jeffrey Hamilton replied

it’s actually around 1metre square. plus about 100mm tinber frame. and the title is the same as the song it is named after.. really appreciate such positive feedback. thx

Oh, wow… I’ve never seen a stained glass work like this! A nice break from the usual biblical and art deco stuff out there!

  • Jeffrey Hamilton replied

Ta. :-) I do “biblical” stuff as well, but with my own particular twist. I see you’re in sydney… I hope we get to meet sometime.
