I am a professional stained glass artist, with particular skills in glass painting and restoration. I spent 3yrs training under Stephan Moor in Strathfield, Sydney, and have been in private practice since 1982.
I have maintained an on-line portfolio since 2000 (www.stainedglass.com.au), kept up an active exhibiting program, and have been published in several overseas and Australian magazines, including Craft Arts International(issue 30, pp31-36), Australian Country Craft & Decorating (V18 No11, pp72-75) and Glass Craftsman (no.189 pp8,9).
My obsession is glass, but equally I have a passion for works on paper, found object and assemblage, photography (what artist can ignore the splendid sights that assault the eye every day?) and recently have taken to painting on large building hoardings in the street -originally under the AKA ’’Skribe’‘ and more recently as “jhammos”
I’m an old dog, but still learning new tricks :-)
Here’s my website www.stainedglass.com.au
And this is my new blog
Please don’t hold back on your commentry: I welcome constructive and thoughtful criticism
