This old grain silo in Richmond isn’t, of course, called the Nylex Silo. In fact, it’s just the sign on top that belongs to the plastic manufacturing company. But given its location, it is something of a Melbourne icon – If you mention the Nylex Silo around here, people know exactly what you mean.
