Cattails Galore

This wetland stand
Not a wasteland
Cattails galore
Winter’s o’er

Springs about to begin
Hear peepers therein?
Green grasses peek
Hidden wildlife to seek

Fuzzy seeds lift
Into the wind swift
Lots to explore
In these cattails galore

wetlands hold water like a sponge and prevent flooding

Wetlands help clean the water we drink, and the air we breathe
