Who's Been Eating The Orange Delights?! by

Betwixt and between the two colonies of Jack-O-Lantern (Omphalotus olearius) Fungi, the forest floor can be seen. The space is wide enough to allow a small creature to turn around before they leave. Crisp curling ocherous fungi edges wave their expanding caps. There’s two mushrooms with missing parts and those parts are amazingly look-alike parts that are missing from my peanut butter sandwich.

Who’s Been Eating The Mushrooms?

Wasn’t me! Somebody is going to get a very upset tummy! Sure glad it won’t be me.

Photo taken in a clearing of a deep, dark forest in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, USA in Macon County near the small town of Franklin.

Tempting as they are, it is best avoid these poisonous fungi.

Don’t know how fast that poison works but if you look around … or wait a few days and sniff around… LOL. Love this picture of the Orange Delights Condo High Rise.
