Old Blue is blind
He’s a very good dog
Courageous and tireless
Worked on the farm
All his short life
(Long in dog years)

Old Blue follows the leader
Still working the farm
He feels his way along
And bravely carries on
Farmer friend and co-worker
Still depends on Old Blue
