Dagnabbit! They are leaving without me. by

Dagnabbit! They’re leaving without me.

Early on a foggy morn,
into the murky sky
the early birds fly.

A slacker lags behind
and try as he might
just couldn’t make the flight.

“Dagnabbit! They’re leaving without me!”
He cried.

Now he’ll have to play catch up.
It’ll be all the dang day long.
How can things go so horribly wrong?

He knows he’ll be hungry
He knows he’ll have to work hard
That we can comfirm
’Cause the early bird always gets the worm

Beautiful shot and great title Jean, LOL!

  • Some guy inspired me for this title. The word Dagnabbit is a word that I find is used far too little. Thanks for your supportive comments, Cal Kimola!
