Hover Fly on small sunflower

Jean Gregory Evans

Franklin, North Carolina, United States

Artist's Description

A Hover Fly is busy as a bee working on a small sunflower after a rain shower. The hover fly only looks like a stinging bee and is quite harmless. It is a great help to the garden. They are found all around the world, except in the very coldest places like Antarctica.
