He couldn’t say that he was happy to greet the sun and glad to be alive. He was grateful that he had gotten through the day before without yelling at anyone. Only he knew how difficult that had been. At first he wondered why? Then he decided to stop wondering. If he tried again it wouldn’t work. Only by seeing each second move by as a random, interesting flash was he able to survive the whole scene on the movie of his life. And when the lights dimmed and the credits began to roll, he would stay in his seat and watch it again. And this time he would laugh. And see things he had missed before.
