The red dust flies and clings to feet in the bright blanket of sun that falls from behind lace leaf tree tops to the Earth. She is connected. Yet very separate. She is noble, Yet poor. She is close to heaven and also drifts beside the road with hand made blue and white fabric drifting beside her like a river in the desert. She may be a mirage. Only she knows for sure.
“Girl on a Red Road” is 24″×36″ acrylic on Tyvek paper. Inspired by the photos of Africa by friend, M. Rhodes
