Garden Reflections
Amid the day’s somber tunes and jagged headlines and faltering wisdom and firestorms and blizzards and waves of concern, the garden unfolds behind an ancient wall and lays in wait for freedom. Freedom to see and pretend. Freedom to enjoy. Freedom to be one with drifting pink petals and glassy pools that reflect the sparkling rivers of fantasy that are suddenly real. More real than anything outside the wall. And the air is filled with ocean and the light mingles with the color of shadows and the music of nature rises up from the earth and unites with the universe and whoever stops to say thank you and join in its song.
