Flying, Falling, Torn
I see wings fluttering. Fans through thick clouds of desire and need. No I don’t like the word need. Not I. Dodging a bullet of scorn, self pity and truth, I wish to reach into space or time or the thick frosting of memories to pull you toward me. Instead I drink black coffee and forget… it… you… me… Walking away, I slip on a flower that has been dropped by another in the hallway. The wings drip and drag and drone overhead once more. The leaves blend into tile and dirt and walls and water and space. Forgotten. Yet felt.

Yet felt........John these are wonderful words and your painting works so perfectly together. A very emotive collaboration that helps one see things more clearly, but still remember that one was there and felt all these things. You express yourself so very, very well and this work helps soothe the heart! Wonderful John!Sx

How much tearing forces are in what we call Love….
Miseries of abandon….
they abandon us…
We do… abandon someone..
and that we call love….
not longer sustain us,
self-pity shades our burning soul,
and mist the eyes of discerning.
But it will pass away,
torn clouds are the metaphor of cleal sky….
melted wak does not pervert the light it had kindled once.
Love is..
and will be…
All.
