In case you haven’t seen The Prisoner, you’re really missing out. Patrick McGoohan stars as Number 6, a former secret agent who is drugged before revealing state secrets and wakes up in the mysterious “Village” which is impossible to escape from. But of course, the title credits tell you all this anyway :)
The font used is the distinctive “Village” font used in the TV series.

This is an excellent sartorial in-joke. You wear it, & anyone who knows what it means is a potential friend, eh? But the sad truth is, despite Patrick McGoohan’s plaint, these days I feel more & more like a number, among other things. But I keep working at it….
