Hi I’m Jewd,

Surrealism and inner themata are big influences for me and alot of images come from my dream world. With paintings I usually start with an idea but don’t quite know whats coming into the work until its happening, I just follow the threads moment by moment. I did 4 years of fine art majoring in drawing and came out strangled by a system that wants to produce artists instead of allowing growth. I did however learn a great deal, but it took me a long time to realize that if you just do what you do much like a child does, you will grow and discover naturally, as is the nature of life.
I love all forms of creative expression that allow us to discover and be more of who we are, it helps me breathe and live…
