Wow – what an image! Love the fun exuding from this, but let’s not overlook the amazing creative energy in this image… the way the background works with the main figure and the over exposed treatment that just blasts this image into your mind. Great work Jessica – just love this!

Looks like a still from a movie. I can just imagine it rolling forward a few frames and seeing the girl and balloon rise up out of the scene. Fantastic.

I fell in love with red balloons when I was a kid a watched a short French film called ‘The Red Balloon’ of a boy chasing his balloon through the streets of Paris. Your shot is so Joyous and with Aussie bush elements its a winner!

Jess, sorry about the delay commenting on this, now everyone has used the adjectives and superlatives! I love the suspension of the perfect moment and the juxtaposition of the balloon against the Australian bush, it’s great how you’ve recontextualised this.

great shot, also reminds me of little red riding hood and as far as the jetstar and toyota people their jumps aren’t a patch on yours!!

Bit of a cliche – but the lady in the red dress leapt at me from my PC Monitor – reminds me of some character out of a fairy tale…..lovely shot :o)
