Awesome Jessica. I saw it as a thumbnail from across the room and I had to check it out. Yeah this is really good. Great colours. Great framing. And to get those two people in the middle – that’s the magic right there. It gives the whole picture a sense of scale. Maybe you and I should be getting a travel exhibition up! :0) Again your signature colours are working well here.
Mel, I actually got lentil as anything in Collingwood to let me put up some travel work this August, you should approach them, they are lovely and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg
i love this pic. The signage colours, and wires and stuff are great, but what makes it special are the two guys just hangnig out on the varanda, and thier washing on the line. awesome pic.
I dont know why i didn’t see this before, but i double clicked on it today and i love it, It’s so busy and colorful P.S. i miss your daily submissions ]:
amazing shot. the sign-age is intoxicating but those 2 hustlers on the balcony make you wonder. Makes me want to visit India, (my wife spent a year there), by her lonesome becoming a Yogi. By the way the lack of people is really dizzope.
Fantastic photo! The colours and lighting create such an intriguing atmosphere. This is the type of scene that most people would walk past without even noticing. Well done on spotting something different and making such a great photo from it! :-)
I love the sense of “loss” that you get when you look at this – the two people surrounded and lost in a sea of commercial signage – the great contrast of old and the new – the structured and chaotic – so many wonderful elements. A great capture Jess. (and it’s never too late to comment on an image like this)

This looks like something I’d try to paint – never imagining that so many messages would actually exist in close proximity to one another.
