there is a deep special quality to your work Jess and the ability to capture a definite mood with every piece… the colour hue you sit your images in is very well thought out and so important to dictate the feel you want to achieve… there is somethign quite arresting about this image, I think it’s the perfect framing, split second eye contact and mixture between foreground, middle and background – a truly stunnignpiece for me that has me actually spellbound! Love the title, your creativity and imagination! LOVE THIS! (oh, and the series)

They’re all so very different Jess (the 365 series) and this is a stand out image for me.
In fact it could almost be the start of another body of work in itself. I guess it just kind of screams narrative to me.. as if it is a movie still.. as if something is going on. A voyeur present.. something… like you’ve just heard movement in the bushes…
