This is the lower Linville falls. The falls are around 50ft high and really make some noise but very beautiful to visit. We could have spent all day there if the weather would have cooperated.

beautiful shot here with the stark contrast between the water and rock. i dropped my 67mm circular pol and a #25 red filter in the gorge last winter when the trail was solid ice, did you by chance find them, lol? really nice exposure treatment. well done.

  • Thanks J.K. No we didnt find your equip,LOL. I only used a 58mm cir pol in this shot. It was really overcast and a bit windy. Kinda ironic, I almost lost a lens cap on the vistor center bridge up top.
