I am truly mortal

Rembrant, who lived almost 400 yrs ago, has paintings that still reach our curiousity. His often entertaining self-portraits are a wonderful treasure.
I just wonder. I think he lives on through them. Staring out at us through them.
I wonder also, one day will I do the same, with my own images. That is, if someone decides they are worthy of keeping, and maybe looking at from time to time.
Will I seize to exist once my grave is over grown with weeds and my tombstone crashes to the earth. My art, my way of expressing myself in a lasting way. Will it die as well? Because it isn’t of much value? Or because it didn’t reach the masses?
Does any of this really matter anyway. Dus to Dus to Dus to Dus.
